This company specialise in high-end residential projects (£1M-£5M) and are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team.
What the Assistant Project Manager role involves:
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across every stage of a project, from tender through to completion. Working closely with their Senior Project Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering bespoke, design-led residential builds while developing your skills in project coordination, procurement, subcontractor management, and more.
We're looking for someone with a background in Architecture, Design, or Project Management and a genuine passion for great design and detail!
What You'll Bring:
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings and technical details
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen design sensibility
- Clear, confident communication with clients, architects, engineers, and suppliers
- Exceptional organisation and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Problem-solving mindset, with the initiative to help navigate challenges
- Tech-savvy skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Provide essential administrative support, manage documentation, take meeting minutes, and keep project records up to date
- Assist with project tracking, including variations, drawing changes, and cost monitoring
- Support procurement, from quantifying materials to placing orders and tracking deliveries
- Help coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, ensuring smooth scheduling and progress
- Be involved in the handover process, including snagging and final documentation
Bonus skills:
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese
- Experience with CAD or SketchUp
