50-year-old contractor specialises in high end internal and external restoration, refurbishment and redecoration works for landlords, and many of London’s leading Estates.
Career progression: This is an exciting role for someone crying out for progression; within a year they would like this person to be in a position to step up and manage the division!
The company established a maintenance division a year ago and the expansion has been overwhelming. The Maintenance Engineer would initially be on the tools, visiting properties around Chelsea, but would also be responsible for downloading jobs and uploading info on to an app that links to the office, where invoices get raised. Very simple to use.
Typical jobs: stain blocking , painting ceilings wardrobe rail fallen down, skirting coming away, mastic / remastic, toilet seat repair, shower door replacement, loose tiles (stick back and re-grout), fix boxes to pipework, wardrobe lighting issue, make good around sky light, water leaking through windows etc., Perform routine maintenance tasks (repairs, decorating, tiling, general handyman works,
Communicate in a professional manner with Tenants and Colleagues to ensure a well-functioning work environment
Diagnose and resolve reported logistical problems
