WHO WE ARE

Born Social is a social-first creative agency that brings brand building into the social era. We have a track record of delivering transformation for iconic brands like Guinness, Ford and Barclays, led by our team of social natives and brand experts, underpinned by technology. Backed by the strength of a brilliant business that’s proudly B‑Corp certified, we’re consistently recognised as one of the best places to work.

As a Multimedia Designer you’ll create high‑quality graphic and motion design assets – from static visuals to animated content and edits – that bring brand and campaign ideas to life across platform‑tailored social, web, OOH and broadcast channels. This role blends craft, creativity and technical skill with an understanding of channel‑specific storytelling.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • You’ll lead graphic and motion design output across multiple briefs, ensuring creative excellence and strategic alignment – delivering industry‑leading, crafted assets that deliver on brief, stay true to brand and campaign direction, and demonstrate the highest level of attention to detail and platform‑tailored expertise across social, web, OOH and broadcast.
  • You’ll act as a client‑facing design lead, articulating creative rationale confidently and representing design craft in the room.
  • You’ll lead, coach and mentor junior and midweight designers – developing their delivery skills, modelling best practice, and contributing to a positive, inclusive team environment.
  • You’ll champion AI‑powered design tools within the team, showing how prompting and generation can push craft further rather than replace it.
  • You’ll collaborate with Creative, Strategy and Production to deliver integrated, visually consistent campaigns across social, web, OOH and broadcast, and outstanding client satisfaction.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • You’re a talented senior designer, comfortable with motion and static, with 4+ years of experience (agency or in‑house).
  • You live and breathe multi‑channel creative, know how to create platform‑tailored assets across social, web, OOH and broadcast, and want to work on a variety of different brands across all sectors.
  • You’re capable of taking strategy and executing it in bold, show‑stopping ways across any channel, with a keen eye for detail and intrigue.
  • You’re craft‑obsessed and have an advanced technical understanding of the principles and how to apply them to the latest trends and innovations, as well as skills in editing and crafting narrative‑driven work.
  • You’re a natural leader – you enjoy mentoring, you give feedback that makes work (and people) better, and you set the standard others follow.
  • Adobe Suite is your bread and butter (particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator).
  • You’re fluent in AI design and generation tools (Midjourney, Runway, Firefly or similar) and have a clear point of view on where they belong in a craft‑led workflow.
  • You’re a self‑driven problem solver with initiative, proactive in navigating challenges and taking pride and ownership in your work, quality and delivery.
  • You’re an excellent communicator who can manage expectations and flag or anticipate potential challenges early on.
  • You’re comfortable managing multiple tasks within a fast‑paced environment where deadlines land simultaneously.

NICE TO HAVE

  • 3D design skills and modelling (Cinema 4D, Blender or equivalent)
  • Branding/identity design experience, including design systems
  • Editing experience for both short and long‑form or broadcast content
  • Experience in Grading and Colouring
