WHO WE ARE
We are Born Social, a social-first creative agency that brings brand building into the social era. We have a track record of delivering transformation for iconic brands like Guinness, Ford, and Barclays, led by our team of social natives and brand experts, underpinned by technology. Backed by the strength of a brilliant business that's proudly B-Corp certified, we're consistently recognised as one of the best places to work.
As a Midweight Multimedia Designer, you'll create high-quality graphic and motion design assets - from static visuals to animated content and edits - that bring brand and campaign ideas to life across platform-tailored social, web, OOH and broadcast channels. The role blends craft, creativity and technical skill with an understanding of channel-specific storytelling. You'll take ownership of graphic and motion design projects, managing high-quality delivery against every brief. You'll proactively contribute to growth by showcasing craft skills in graphic design, animation, editing and AI-powered design tools to help build trusted client relationships.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- You'll own graphic and motion design projects end-to-end from storyboard to final export delivering high-quality, crafted work that lands the brief every time.
- You'll translate creative concepts into scroll-stopping GFX, static visuals and edits, tailored for social platforms, media placements and every touchpoint in between.
- You'll bring proactive ideas to the table, elevating campaigns through dynamic static design and motion storytelling.
- You'll work with AI-powered design tools as part of your craft using them to push ideas further and work smarter, not as a shortcut for quality.
- You'll collaborate closely with Client Services, Creative and Production to deliver seamless, visually consistent campaigns across social, web, OOH and broadcast that keep clients coming back.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You're a talented, multi-disciplined midweight designer, equally comfortable in motion and static, with 2–4 years of experience (agency or in-house).
- You live and breathe social; you know what makes a thumb stop, and you want to prove it across a variety of brands and sectors.
- You're craft-obsessed with a keen eye for detail, and you take real pride and ownership in your work, quality and delivery.
- Adobe Suite is your bread and butter (particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator).
- You're curious about AI and already using generation and prompting tools (Midjourney, Runway, Firefly or similar) in your creative process.
- You're a self-driven problem solver with initiative, proactive in navigating challenges and flagging them early.
- You're comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment where deadlines land simultaneously.
NICE TO HAVE
- 3D skills (Cinema 4D, Blender or equivalent).
- Branding and identity design experience.
- Experience with Red Giant or equivalent motion plugins.
NO GRIT NO PEARL
