London, UK Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office per week. We operate a Fix + Flex model, with Wednesdays and Thursdays as our two Fix Days, when everyone is in the office, and the third day is Flex for you - either Monday, Tuesday, or Friday.

WHO WE ARE

We are Born Social, a social-first creative agency that brings brand building into the social era. We have a track record of delivering transformation for iconic brands like Guinness, Ford, and Barclays, led by our team of social natives and brand experts, underpinned by technology. Backed by the strength of a brilliant business that's proudly B‑Corp certified, we're consistently recognised as one of the best places to work.

We’re looking to build a pool of experienced freelance / contract Midweight Producers to support a high volume of fast‑paced, social‑first work across a range of consumer brands, including those in home appliance, supermarket, automotive, and FMCG sectors. As a Midweight Producer, you'll sit in our Production team, working closely with the Creative team, taking their concepts and helping to bring their vision to life through social‑first productions. We don't specialise in any particular sector, meaning any given production brief presents completely new challenges and opportunities.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Running social‑first productions for a wide range of brands across different industries, with support from senior producers on larger or more complex shoots.
  • Owning small to mid‑scale productions end to end, from ballpark, director search, pre‑production through to post‑production and delivery; including timing plans, budgets, and running of the set on shoot day.
  • Supporting senior producers on bigger productions, taking ownership of key workstreams like crewing, kit, locations, talent logistics and call sheets.
  • Working closely with account teams, procurement, compliance, agency creatives, freelance crews, project managers, designers and suppliers to help bring the shoot vision to life.
  • Doing what you say to ensure productions are delivered on time and on budget, keeping account teams and stakeholders updated throughout.
  • Saying it simply so every person on a shoot knows exactly what's expected of them at all stages, from crew to clients on set.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Solid experience in line and agency producing; agency or production company experience preferred, with bonus points for big‑name brands and social‑first content.
  • Experience writing pre and post‑production timelines and managing production budgets confidently and accurately.
  • A growing black book of directors, crews and production partners.
  • Some experience working with talent and their representatives, and a working knowledge of usage fees, talent contracts, location permits etc, with an appetite to deepen it.
  • You love brands and social media: you're fascinated by brands, how they market themselves and how they use social media to do this.
  • You are naturally curious about the developments of the digital world and excited by its potential.
  • Highly organised: production is fast, deadlines land simultaneously, so the ability to run a tight ship is a must.
  • Pride in your work: we treat our client's brands as our own and are meticulous about our approach. You take real pride in what you deliver and always strive for perfection.
  • Real drive and ambition: you're a proactive self‑starter with a mindset of growth, confident contributing ideas, presenting to clients and attending shoots.
  • A team player who is supportive and capable of bringing the best out of those around you.

3+ years' production experience (agency‑side preferable, but production company experience will also be considered).
