WHO WE ARE
We are Born Social, a social-first creative agency that brings brand building into the social era. We have a track record of delivering transformation for iconic brands like Guinness, Ford, and Barclays, led by our team of social natives and brand experts, underpinned by technology. Backed by the strength of a brilliant business that’s proudly B-Corp certified, we’re consistently recognised as one of the best places to work.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- You’ll lead by doing: personally running complex, multi‑market shoots and post production to hit creative ambition, timelines, budget and delivery with the highest level of attention to detail and craft – troubleshooting on the day when things don’t go to plan.
- You’ll set and uphold craft standards across every production, partnering with Creative and Design to elevate output, and ensuring compliance, health & safety and duty of care standards are met on every shoot.
- You’ll help lead production operations; scoping creative into production plans, reviewing and signing off estimates pulled together by the wider Producer team, and managing markup and supplier negotiations to keep margins strong.
- You’ll strengthen and scale our production partner network, building senior relationships with talent, directors, crews and suppliers.
- You’ll work hand‑in‑hand with our Head of Production to nurture a team culture that reflects our values and supports development, including the growth of your direct reports, and continuously review our production processes to help the team work more efficiently.
- You’ll travel across the EU, and occasionally to the US, to run shoots on the ground.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You’re an accomplished producer with a strong track record in both line and agency producing, having led productions end‑to‑end – from scoping, pre‑production through to post and delivery.
- You live and breathe social‑first production, and know what it takes to make work that lands for audiences and clients alike – ideally with agency experience across big‑name global brands.
- You’re commercially sharp – scoping to meet budgets and confident reviewing and signing off scopes pulled together by other Producers.
- You’ve built a well‑established black book of top‑notch directors, crews and production partners.
- You know your way around talent management – usage fees, talent contracts and location permits are second nature to you.
- You’ve got a good understanding of on‑set compliance, health & safety and duty of care standards, and stay calm when things don’t go to plan.
- You’re a people‑first leader – you’ve helped lead and develop a team before, and you’re invested in nurturing junior production talent, supporting with recruitment as we grow.
- You’re organised and commercially minded, comfortable running multiple productions at once in a fast‑paced environment where deadlines land simultaneously.
- You’re confident, vocal and professional – equally comfortable pitching ideas, presenting to senior clients, and running the set on shoot day.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience producing beyond social – TVC, broadcast, DOOH or longform – bringing additional craft and rigour to our social‑first approach.
- APA training such as the APA Masterclass or Production Safety Passport.
VALUES
- See Challenge as Opportunity is about our attitude and to be very clear, this is not a value of optimism, nor is it about loving every challenge.
- Say It Simply is how we communicate. Think of the basic rules of communication – honest, clear, confident.
- Do What You Say is the crux of our reputation and longevity. When you join Born Social, our trust is fully given. It is yours to lose.
- Make Each Other Better is about our culture of collaboration and commitment to development. We are only as good as the people around us so we all take responsibility for developing each other, as well as ourselves.
- Consciously Contribute is bigger than all the others. It ensures we grow right. It broadens our focus beyond Born Social and cements our commitment to doing what’s just, not what’s easy or immediately self‑serving.
