We are looking for an organised, motivated and enthusiastic Community Research Assistant to take a key role in the BiBBS ACHIEVE study within the Born in Bradford (BiB) programme. We are specifically seeking someone who speaks a Central/Eastern European language. Please ensure you explicitly state which of these languages you speak in your application form.

Main duties

  • The successful candidate will work as part of the wider BiBBS team to collect data in schools and other community settings.
  • They will work with children and their families.
  • The data collected will contribute towards the understanding and improving the health and wellbeing of families in Bradford, nationally and internationally.
  • The findings from studies will be used to influence policy makers, health professionals and educationalists and help them improve service provision.

You will have experience of working with children and families in a community/health setting. You will be organised and able to work under your own initiative to meet tight deadlines as well as having an approachable and friendly manner.
