This role has a starting rate of £12.25 per hour. On successful completion of probation period you will receive an increase to £12.75 per hour and £50 in hotel vouchers.
Role & Responsibilities:
- To ensure all of our guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the utmost hospitality and care during their stay with us.
- To provide an unforgettable experience starting with Reception – not just on arrival but through the whole process of booking to departure.
- To follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual – Reservations, Sales, Check In and Check Out Procedures.
- To achieve sales in line with company objectives.
- To promote additional products and services within the hotel and group brand.
- To maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from guests in accordance with company policy, and the accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales.
- To maintain high standards of hospitality, processing bookings, upselling, salesmanship, financial and reporting diligence.
- To support the reservations team with booking support.
- To ensure all complaints are minimised and handled professionally in accordance with hotel policy.
- To ensure a good working relationship with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
- Stock replenishment of department areas.
- Ensure daily updates are communicated throughout the hotel.
- Follow legislation relating to job role.
- To understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control and Emergency Aid.
- All other duties as required.
