Role & Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the smoothrunning of the kitchen production areas.
  • Washing dishes manually andalso by using the dishwasher.
  • Assisting in basic foodpreparation if needed
  • Cleaning pots, pans and anyother kitchen utensils.
  • Maintain the kitchen workareas in accordance with HACCP regulations.
  • Storing away all crockery,cutlery and glassware.
  • Sweeping and mopping thekitchen floor.
  • Emptying bins when they arefull.
  • Reporting any faultequipment to the kitchen manager or chef and then arranging for their repair.
  • Keeping breakages down to aminimum.
  • Complying with the dailycleaning rotas.
  • Taking all dirty linen andcloths from the kitchen to the hotel laundry.
  • Assistingin other areas of the hotel when required to.
  • To ensure good working relationship with allother departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
  • To understand responsibilities in relation to FireProcedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control and Emergency Aid.
