This role has a starting rate of £12.25 per hour. On successful completion of probation period you will receive an increase to £12.75 per hour and £50 in hotel vouchers.
Role & Responsibilities:
- To offer a high level of consistent, friendly and efficient care to all spa clients and visitors.
- To work within spa guidelines to ensure that all client bookings are accurate and precise resulting in a client journey that is second to none.
- To deal with all client queries – by phone, post, online and face-to-face.
- To maintain a good knowledge of all products and treatments in order to deal with daily client queries and bookings. (Product and treatment training will be provided)
- To consistently achieve sales targets.
- To identify and maximise sales opportunities in all client queries/contact.
- To carry out Reception procedures as per the daily checklists. This will include opening/closing of the Spa.
- To liaise with the Spa therapists to ensure that treatment time guidelines are adhered to or adjustments made immediately to ensure the client’s journey runs smoothly.
- To ensure that all equipment is maintained in good working order and communicate any faults or breakdowns to the Head Therapist or Spa Manager.
- To maintain an accurate client database. Assist the Spa Manager in utilising this information to maintain close contact with our clients and encourage repeat business. All contact will be both paper and web-based.
- To create and distribute marketing literature as required.
- To carry out administrative duties as required e.g. filing, daily banking, stock taking.
- To ensure all necessary paperwork is completed correctly and passed to the appropriate therapist prior to any treatment delivery. Update any changes that may need to be made to a client’s record.
- To build up a rapport with all clients. Communicate client suggestions to management so that the Spa’s offering can be further enhanced.
- To ensure that all information of a confidential nature gained in the course of duty is not divulged to third parties.
- To display a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times in dealing with guests, employees and outside contacts.
- To work within the guidelines of health and safety operatives to ensure all staff and guests are safe at all times.
- To be expected to work to the demands of the business, involving the working of unsociable hours.
- To provide flexibility with covering shifts due to illness.
- Any other duties as required.
