Role & Responsibilities:

  • To ensure all of our guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the utmost hospitality and care during their stay with us – we aim to provide an unforgettable experience.
  • To ensure all complaints are minimised and handled professionally in accordance with our policies.
  • To supervise the restaurant breakfast team in line with company policies and manuals.
  • Work with the Restaurant Manager to maximise sales performance and achieve sales in line with targets.
  • Ensure effective control of stock and staff costs in the Restaurant Manager's absence.
  • To follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual.
  • Serve food and drinks quickly and efficiently, meeting our five-star standards.
  • Keep up to date with current promotions and new products.
  • Make guests aware of offers on our great food and drink range.
  • To assist in any function or events set ups in accordance with procedures.
  • To maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from guests in accordance with company policy, and the accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales.
  • To observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations.
  • Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy.
  • To ensure good working relationships with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
  • To understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control and Emergency Aid.
  • All other duties as required.
