This role has a starting rate of £12.75 per hour. On successful completion of probation period you will receive an increase to £13.25 per hour and £50 in hotel vouchers.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • To ensure all of our guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the utmost hospitality and care during their stay with us.
  • To provide an unforgettable experience and this starts with Reception – not just on arrival but through the whole process of booking to departure.
  • To follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual – Reservations, Sales, Check In and Check Out Procedures.
  • To achieve sales in line with company objectives.
  • To promote additional products and services within the hotel and group brand.
  • To maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from guests in accordance with company Policy, and the accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales.
  • To maintain high standards of hospitality, processing bookings, upselling, salesmanship, financial and reporting diligence.
  • To support the reservations team with booking support.
  • To ensure all complaints are minimized and handled professionally as in accordance with hotel policy.
  • To ensure a good working relationship with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
  • Stock replenishment of department areas.
  • Ensure daily updates are communicated throughout the hotel.
  • Follow legislation relating to job role.
  • To understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control and Emergency Aid.
  • All other duties as required.
