This rolehas a starting rate of £12.75 per hour... On successful completion of probation period you will receive an increase to£13.25 per hour and £50 in hotel vouchers.

Role & Responsibilities

  • To deliver guest service to the highest standard for internal and external guests within the Hotel at any time.
  • To ensure the company ethos is at the forefront of all work undertaken.
  • To be responsible for the section of service you are given and as a task, completing the work to the highest standard expected.
  • To ensure all our guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the up most hospitality and care during their stay with us – we aim to provide an unforgettable experience

• To follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual

  • Serve food and drinks, quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards as set out for 5 star standard.
  • Keep up to date with current promotions and new products through training and briefings.
  • Make guests aware of promotions on our food and drink range through training and self-study.
  • To assist in any function or events set ups in accordance with procedures.
  • To carry out work for any function or event as instructed by your line manager.
  • To maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from guests in accordance with company policy, and the accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales.
  • To observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations.
  • Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy.
  • To present the company and yourself in a professional manner at all times whilst linked to Boringdon Hall
  • To maintain the highest hygiene standards in your personal presentation and manner whilst linked to Boringdon Hall.
  • To ensure key legislation is complied with and followed.
  • To ensure all complaints are minimised and handled professionally as in accordance with our policies
  • To ensure good working relationship with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
  • To understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control and Emergency Aid.
