About The Borgen Project: An international organization working to improve living conditions for those affected by war, famine, and poverty. With 20 years of experience, we support legislation benefiting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.
Role Details: This is a part-time, unpaid, remote programme of 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. You can complete it sooner if desired. The focus is on raising awareness of our work through various marketing activities.
- Creating branding campaigns
- Conducting focus groups for market research
- Pitching stories to media outlets
- Developing fundraising strategies
- Planning and presenting informational meetings
- Utilizing social media and web messaging strategies
- Supporting advocacy efforts
Experience: No prior experience necessary. We seek passionate individuals eager to fight poverty, regardless of background or GPA.
Start Date: Flexible; new programmes start monthly, and you can choose your start month.
This opportunity is unpaid, but college credit may be available.
Location: Remote, with opportunities to connect globally.
Employment Details: This role is at the associate level, within the fields of marketing, public relations, and writing/editing, in civic and nonprofit sectors.
