The predicted salary is between 23000 - 25000 £ per year.

Salary: Grade B (Subject to evaluation under BCC Equal Pay Programme) 32.5 hours per week, Term Time only, FTC until End of July 2027. To start in Sept 2026.

The Governing body are seeking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic person to join Bordesley Green Girls School and Sixth Form as a Cover Supervisor. You should have great communication skills and be able to converse confidently with students, staff and parents. The successful candidate will cover classes for absent teachers, set high expectations to motivate and challenge our pupils whilst promoting a positive learning environment. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Cover Supervisor or someone wishing to pursue a career in education in the future.

We are an ambitious and forward-thinking school and have been highly praised for our inclusive ethos and the attitudes and values of our pupils. The successful candidate will be expected to attend All Staff Training Days (5/year) outside of their normal working hours. The successful candidate will also be asked to run small group interventions or 1:1 sessions after school on certain days.

It is essential that you are reliable, accurate and pay attention to detail and that you have:

  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent timekeeping
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Two referees, one of whom should be your current or most recent employer
