About Borderless

At Borderless, we are building a world where borders are no longer barriers - where anyone can move anywhere, seamlessly and safely. Founded in 2023, we have already helped 600+ UK businesses and 15,000+ individuals navigate the complexity of immigration. Powered by technology, and supported by an expert team, our platform removes the friction of Home Office compliance, visa processing and sponsor licence applications, making immigration faster, simpler and more accessible for everyone. Backed by Entrepreneur First and Backed.VC, we are scaling fast and in 2026 expanding into new sectors and markets to further accelerate our growth. Also, around 25% of our workforce is sponsored, and we proudly offer visa sponsorship as part of our hiring process.

Role: Why this role matters

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our product team and take direct ownership of feature delivery across our platform. This is not a supporting role - you will be shaping what gets built, how it gets shipped, and whether it delights our customers and has clear business impact. You will work closely with engineering, design, operations, and customer-facing teams to move fast and deliver high-quality outcomes every sprint. You will thrive here if you are someone who treats urgency as a default setting, thinks about the customer in every decision, and takes pride in owning outcomes - not just tasks. This role requires working in the office 3 days per week. If this is not possible for you, please do not apply.

Role Responsibilities

  • Own feature delivery end-to-end within a two-week sprint model - from scoping and prioritisation through to launch - ensuring every release meets a high bar for UX, design quality, and customer experience.
  • Triage and evaluate feature requests and customer feedback, synthesising inputs from across the business into a clear, prioritised view of what matters most and why.
  • Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, keeping stakeholders aligned and projects moving in a high-velocity, rapidly scaling environment.
  • Interface with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, design, customer success, sales, and operations to drive sprint goals and land impactful outcomes on schedule.
  • Be the voice of the customer in every product conversation, grounding decisions in real user needs, pain points, and behaviour.
  • Contribute to product strategy and roadmap discussions, bringing structured thinking and customer insight to shape where the product goes next.

The Ideal Candidate Will Bring

  • 1–5 years of experience in product, engineering, or operations, with clear, tangible examples of impact delivered through the adoption of AI.
  • High urgency, high ownership. You don’t wait to be told what to do next. You identify blockers early, elevate when needed, and keep things moving. You hold yourself accountable to outcomes, not effort.
  • Customer obsession. You genuinely care about the people using our product. You read support tickets for fun. You push back when a decision isn’t in the customer’s interest. You’d never ship something you wouldn’t be proud to put in front of a user.
  • Structured and adaptable. You can manage competing priorities without losing the thread. You bring clarity to ambiguous situations and know how to make decisions with incomplete information.
  • Strong communicator. You can align a room full of stakeholders with different priorities, write a sharp spec, and give design feedback that’s specific and actionable.

Nice to have

  • Ideally deep familiarity with tools like Slack, Linear and Intercom.
  • Experience working in a SaaS, fintech, or HR-tech environment.

Benefits

  • 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
  • Monthly company in-office lunches.
  • Monthly company team events.
  • Annual offsite (our last one was in Palma!).
  • Comprehensive private medical insurance.
  • 25 days holiday each year + 3 days between 25th December and 31st January, plus bank holidays.
  • 1-week work-from-anywhere policy.
  • £500 annual Learning & Development budget.
  • 6-month performance reviews and promotion opportunities.
  • Laptop and peripherals — whatever you need to work effectively.
  • Cycle to Work scheme.
  • Employer pension contributions via Smart Pension.
  • Access to Spill (mental health support).
  • Gym in Shoreditch Exchange.
  • Onsite barista.
