About Borderless
We believe in a world where borders are no longer barriers. Since launching in 2023, we've helped 400+ UK businesses and thousands of individuals across healthcare, construction, finance, and more. Our digital platform streamlines the UK sponsorship process using automation and expert support. Backed by Entrepreneur First and Backed.VC, we're scaling fast. Also, around 25% of our workforce is sponsored, and we proudly offer visa sponsorship as part of our hiring process.

We're growing quickly, and with that growth comes the need for experienced, commercially aware Immigration Advisors who can combine technical excellence with a strong client mindset. As an Immigration Advisor, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of clients, providing high-quality immigration advice while ensuring applications and sponsorship processes are delivered accurately, efficiently, and compliantly. You will act as a trusted advisor to employers navigating complex immigration requirements.

Beyond technical expertise, this role is designed to evolve. We are actively developing our Immigration Advisors to build Customer Success capability — meaning you'll gain exposure to relationship management, proactive client engagement, and identifying opportunities to drive long-term value for our customers. You'll work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Business Operations, Customer Support, and Product to ensure seamless, compliant, and high-impact customer journeys.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide expert immigration advice across Skilled Worker Visas, Certificate of Sponsorship and Sponsor License Applications.
  • Partner with CSMs to deliver strategic immigration guidance to client accounts, supporting workforce planning and business growth initiatives.
  • Conduct audits for our customers to ensure ongoing compliance is maintained.
  • Primarily handle our most complex cases for our largest customers, which require escalation beyond standard caseworker level.
  • Work with our immigration caseworkers to monitor submission outcomes and proactively manage risks.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships.
  • Translate complex immigration rules into clear, practical guidance.
  • Collaborate with CSMs to proactively manage client accounts.
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to operational excellence.
  • Use internal systems including the Borderless platform, Intercom, Google Sheets, and G-Suite.

At Borderless, Immigration Advisors are not just technical specialists — they are trusted partners to our clients. You'll be supported to develop skills in:

  • Proactive account management.
  • Commercial awareness and opportunity spotting.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Customer health monitoring.
  • Strategic immigration planning conversations.

This creates a clear pathway toward hybrid Immigration + Customer Success roles as we scale.

You Should Apply If

  • You have strong experience advising on UK immigration and sponsorship matters.
  • You are confident managing complex casework independently.
  • You combine attention to detail with commercial awareness.
  • You communicate complex topics clearly and empathetically.
  • You thrive in fast-paced, scaling environments.
  • You take ownership and enjoy building long-term client relationships.
  • You are proactive and comfortable working cross-functionally.
  • Experience in corporate immigration, sponsorship compliance, or employer advisory work is highly desirable.

Interview Process

  • 30 min screening call with Talent.
  • 45 min interview with Director of Operations.
  • In person final interview with the team and hiring manager.

Benefits
