They have an opening for an HGV Driver to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that plays a vital part in the day-to-day delivery of our volumetric concrete service. You'll be operating modern vehicles, working closely with colleagues and customers, and representing Border Mix on sites across Edinburgh, the Lothians, South Lanarkshire and the Scottish Borders. Flexibility is essential, as we are a customer-led business and no two days are the same.
Essential requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and hard-working
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently when required
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Location: Dolphinton, West Linton
Salary: £16.50 per hour (above 40 hours then time and half)
Hours: 40+ hours per week (flexibility is key). Typical hours are 7.30am/8.00am to 5.00pm, but start and finish times may vary.
Contract: Permanent
Benefits: 28 days' annual leave per annum (inclusive of public holidays). Stable, long-term role within a well-established and respected local business.
