Summer Season Driver – Border Group Barnard Castle
Summer Season Driver
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Summer Season Driver to join Border Group Ltd, on a fixed-term basis over the busy, summer events season.
Job Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and collecting and servicing our toilet facilities across northern England and southern Scotland and working in our depot and on customer sites to provide the best possible service to our clients.
As part of this role, when required, the successful candidate will also be responsible transporting and unloading various types of events products for our clients across the UK to ensure their safe delivery to and from our depot.
Duties will also include assisting in our busy depot yard with tasks such as cleaning our products, moving and storing equipment, general maintenance and housekeeping, and inspecting equipment.
Job Criteria
The ideal Operative will have the following skills and experiences:
- Hold a full driver CPC licence and full UK driving licence (essential).
- Have a minimum of a Class 2 licence and tachograph card (essential).
- Experience in a similar role or industry;
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills;
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to be pro-active;
- Able to work in a team to maximise the success of the business;
- Able to solve problems and use initiative;

Working Hours – 42.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday with overtime available. Occasional weekend availability will also be required.
