Job Description
Title: Logistics Associate
Location: London, United Kingdom
Position Type: Full-time
About Us:
At Bordeaux Index, our mission is to change the way fine wine and spirits are traded globally. We combine deep sector expertise with innovative technology to rethink how fine wine and spirits are sourced, traded, and transported – providing best-in-class merchant, trading, and investment services to our global client base.
For over 28 years, we’ve been disrupting the fine wine and spirits industry — challenging tradition and bringing transparency to a historically opaque market. Today, Bordeaux Index is one of the largest traders of fine wine globally, with over £100 million in annual turnover and strategic hubs in London, Hong Kong and Singapore. We’re the company behind LiveTrade, the industry’s most advanced fine wine trading platform — offering real-time pricing, deep liquidity, and instant execution for thousands of wines. With innovation at our core and a bold vision for the future, our ambition is to build a category-defining business that reshapes the global fine wine and spirits market.
Role Overview:
As Bordeaux Index continues to scale, we’re looking for a Logistics Associate to help keep our operations running smoothly and contribute to improving how we work as we grow.
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented self-starter who’s comfortable getting their hands dirty but also keen to think critically about how we can work smarter. You’ll be a key member of the Operations team, working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that sits at the heart of the business. If you’re organised, curious, and excited by the opportunity to shape and improve core business processes, we’d love to hear from you.
Experience in logistics or fine wine is a plus — but not essential for the right candidate with the mindset to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
Imports and Warehouse Coordination
- Help support the day-to-day practices of landing stock in our warehouse.
- Take ownership of data entry and ensure stock is landed correctly.
- Identify discrepancies or shortages and coordinate with relevant teams to plan stock replacement.
- Plan and track inbound shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance with customs regulations, and timely delivery.
- Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams for process changes, escalations, and communication.
- Responsible for inventory validation in local warehouse and ensuring inventory data is correct in warehouses.
Technological Advancement & Innovation
· Support the implementation and maintenance of stock landing systems and procedures, ensuring accurate data entry and efficient processes.
- Support the team with new initiatives, changes and product launches that will be implemented with team lead oversight.
- Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s productivity.
- Actively develop process improvements within and between warehouse elements.
- Work cross-functionally with tech and your senior team members to optimise and automate warehouse processes and support the technological development of the team.
Requirements:
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Self-motivated, curious and proactive in finding and solving problems.
- Pragmatic and solution-driven with strong prioritization ability.
- Able to work from our London Head Office a minimum of 4 days a week.
- Experience in logistics or fine wine would be beneficial, but is not essential for the right candidate.
- You will be working with a highly experienced and driven team where, alongside your day-to-day activities, you will be providing support where required.
- Tech savvy and quick to pick-up new systems
Benefits:
- Vibrant, international work environment with mission-driven colleagues
- Steep learning curve and career advancement
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Central London office location with excellent transportation connections (Tottenham Court Road / Warren Street / Goodge Street / Euston Square)
- A role at the forefront of the fine wine and spirits market.
