About Us
Bordeaux & Burgundy, headquartered in New York, is a B2B SaaS, content-first marketing firm. We work with the world's most ambitious SaaS and technology brands. Building GTM engines, we help our clients clarify their positioning, learn their audience and generate demand through content marketing and channel distribution.
The Role
This is a motion-first design role. While you will have a foundation in static design, the vast majority of your deliverables – approximately 90% – will be spent on motion and video work. You will produce a wide range of motion and video content for B2B SaaS clients: short-form LinkedIn advertising videos (typically 15–30 seconds), longer-form YouTube content (60 seconds and beyond), product demo videos, animated social content, footage editing and motion-led illustration.
You will work closely with our Creative Lead, content strategists, and GTM specialists to ensure every piece of motion content serves a clear commercial purpose and lands with impact across the channels it’s built for. This role spans the full motion spectrum – from concept and storyboard through to edit, animation, and final delivery.
Location and Working Pattern
- Remote role
- Must be based in the UK
- Occasional in-person working at our (future) Manchester office
- Occasional client meetings (UK, with occasional international travel)
Before You Apply
This role is not for you, if any of these ring true:
- You are not based in, or within commutable distance of, Greater Manchester
- Motion design is a secondary skill rather than your primary discipline
- Your portfolio is predominantly static design – we need to see strong, varied motion work
- You have not produced short and long form video content designed for performance marketing / advertising initiatives
- You are uncomfortable working with tight timelines, iterating quickly, and producing work across multiple client brands
- You find fast-paced agency environments stressful rather than motivating
Working at Bordeaux & Burgundy
Honesty, integrity, logic and humour. If you value these in your workplace, you’ll fit in perfectly. We take marketing very seriously – and the quality of service our clients receive, even more so. But we don’t take ourselves seriously. You’ll find no egos here. Every teammate will help you solve challenges, respond quickly, treat you with respect, and support your professional growth.
What You'll Do
- Produce motion and video content across B2B SaaS client accounts, spanning short-form ads through to long-form video
- Create LinkedIn advertising videos (15–30 seconds) optimised for performance in a B2B feed environment
- Produce longer-form YouTube and video content (60 seconds+), including product demos, explainers, and brand stories
- Design and animate motion graphics, illustration-led sequences, and screen capture walkthroughs
- Edit raw footage into polished, on-brand video content that serves clear GTM objectives
- Develop storyboards and motion concepts in collaboration with the Creative Lead and content teams
- Maintain visual consistency and brand standards across all motion outputs
- Deliver assets in the correct formats and specifications for each platform
- Support static design output where required, contributing to campaigns alongside the wider creative team
What You'll Need
- A strong, varied portfolio of motion work – applications without a portfolio will not be considered
- 3+ years’ experience in a motion design role (agency, studio, or in-house)
- Proven experience producing short-form advertising video content for platforms such as LinkedIn and Meta
- Confident across the full motion production pipeline: concept, storyboard, animation, footage editing, and final delivery
- Experience with motion graphics, illustration-led animation, product demos, and video editing
- Solid foundation in static graphic design, enabling confident contribution to wider campaign assets
- Strong understanding of how video performs across B2B digital channels
- Ability to work across multiple client brands, adapting style and tone accordingly
- High attention to detail and a genuine commitment to craft
- B2B or SaaS experience is advantageous; FinTech, AI, or Cybersecurity exposure a further plus
Tools and Platforms
- After Effects (essential)
- Premiere Pro (essential)
- Figma
- Illustrator or similar vector tools
- Lottie or similar for lightweight web animation (advantageous)
- Adobe Creative Suite broadly
Compensation and Benefits
- £43,000 per annum
- 28 days’ holiday (plus UK bank holidays)
- Discretionary company and individual performance bonuses
- Fully remote initially, with hybrid model expected over time
- Work-from-home equipment setup support
- Occasional UK and international travel
