Bordeaux & Burgundy, headquartered in New York, is a B2B SaaS, content-first marketing firm. We work with the world’s most ambitious SaaS and technology brands. Building GTM engines, we help our clients clarify their positioning, learn their audience and generate demand through content marketing and channel distribution.
To date, we’ve driven over $10bn in acquisitions, $2bn+ in pipeline and thousands of new customers for our client brands across Cybersecurity, FinServ and AI. Where we stand apart from a sector increasingly dominated by volume promises and short-term tactics, is our belief that an agency partner develops B2B growth through long-term consistency – not in 5-step packages or false guarantees. We do not sell lead quotas, growth hacks, or templated playbooks. We build credible go-to-market engines designed to withstand scrutiny from founders, sales teams, and investors. We fundamentally believe in creating sustainable, compounding results over the long-term.
Today, we’re partnered with the world’s most prestigious VC/PE investor firms, government organisations, leading technology companies, and are continuously recognized by the leading industry bodies: Forbes, The Drum, Campaign, Adweek, BIMA and more. We’re known for world class marketing ideas and execution.
Our team comprises multidisciplinary B2B marketing experts. Known in their respective fields for their elite expertise and mastery of the most sophisticated GTM models you’ll find across marketing channels. To join this elite team, we now seek a Marketing Manager. An expert representative of the firm, leading the strategy and delivery of our clients’ content marketing solutions.
The Role
This is a senior, execution‑led, globally‑minded, enterprise‑tactic level position for a marketer deeply familiar with B2B Financial Services and content marketing environments, someone comfortable operating at pace. This is a T‑shaped role: you must be able to demonstrate capability across numerous marketing disciplines in order to succeed.
Designed for the exceptional, not the ‘standard’ marketing manager. The successful candidate for this role is an elite marketeer from the FinServ sector. You will work with some of the smartest, most ambitious Financial Software brands on the planet. You’ll be responsible for owning their content strategy and its execution. Crafting the go‑to‑market solution for some of the world’s fastest growing companies, whilst representing our firm as the client’s go to expert. You must be comfortable and confident with ambitious targets, high pressure and balancing multiple projects. Your communication skills must be impeccable. Your eye for detail is incomparable.
This role will challenge you. Taking on that challenge should be something you thrive in. In return, this role will give you hands‑on experience with the most sophisticated GTM tactics in motion today. You’ll have the world’s most advanced GTM AI tools at your disposal. An first‑hand ability to shape the B2B industry and change sector narratives. To transform businesses and the impact marketing can have on their growth. We guarantee in depth learning and experience that will change the trajectory of your career.
Location & Working Pattern
Fully remote role - a hybrid model is likely to develop as the business grows. Must be based in the Greater Manchester area. Regular in‑person working with Manchester‑based colleagues. Occasional client meetings (UK, with occasional international travel).
Before You Apply
We respect your time. And once you join us, you’ll learn that we operate transparently and value getting to the point efficiently. As such… This role is not for you, if any of these ring true:
- You are not based in, or within commutable distance of, Greater Manchester.
- You have no experience working in Financial Services (B2B and/or SaaS)
- Your hands‑on experience is primarily limited to one channel or discipline.
- You expect detailed task lists or close day‑to‑day direction from a manager – we trust people to own their work and deadlines, whilst of course, have systems, people and processes there to enable you. You should thrive in autonomy.
- You find project and system hygiene difficult or unimportant (updating trackers, documenting processes, coordinating stakeholders and deadlines).
- You prefer strategy without execution – this role requires you to do both. Experts in delegating, without the skills to help deliver a project, won’t thrive in this role.
- You are uncomfortable presenting performance data, creating content marketing collateral, adjusting an ad creative in Figam, or supporting CRM and automation projects.
- Fast‑moving agency environments feel overwhelming rather than energising.
- Client‑facing conversations feel intimidating or something to avoid.
We are being deliberately transparent and upfront here. The care we take of our team is of utmost importance to us. So every new member set to join us, is held to the same high expectations we have of one another today.
