As part of Boralex's growth strategy in Europe, we are seeking a Manager, Partnerships & Corporate Development to support the identification, evaluation, execution and management of strategic partnerships, acquisitions and divestments across the renewable energy sector. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams including development, engineering, finance, tax, legal and operations, you will play a key role in driving external growth initiatives and corporate transactions. This position offers broad exposure to transaction execution, strategic analysis and investment decision-making in a fast-growing renewable energy platform.

You will play an important role in:

  • Identifying, evaluating and executing acquisition, partnership and investment opportunities aligned with Boralex's growth strategy across Europe.
  • Leading and coordinating transaction processes, including due diligence, financial analysis, negotiations, transaction structuring, documentation, signings and closings.
  • Supporting asset rotation and capital recycling activities, including divestment processes, dataroom management, investor engagement and transaction execution.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to provide strategic recommendations, monitor market developments and contribute to the continuous improvement of investment and transaction processes.

To succeed in this position, you need:

  • A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business or a related field, combined with significant experience in corporate development, M&A, investment management, infrastructure, renewable energy or investment banking.
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, commercial analysis and negotiation skills, with a solid understanding of M&A transactions and investment processes.
  • A strong interest in renewable energy markets and business models, with experience in the renewable energy, infrastructure or utilities sector considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word is required; French language skills are an asset.
