We’re looking for a cross-domain specialist to help us design, deploy, and maintain Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) for an enterprise environment.
As a Linux System Administrator on our project, you’ll constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies. You’ll provide your customers with insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission‑critical network. You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the teamwork over challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs. Join our team and solve daily challenges as we improve cross‑domain.
You Have
- 3+ years of experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux or CentOS
- Experience with managing virtual machines and VMware ESXi
- Knowledge of Linux firewalls, networking configuration, and DNS
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience with systems administration, or 12+ years of experience with systems administration in lieu of a degree
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of start date
Nice If You Have
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with managing systems using Infrastructure as Code technologies, such as Salt, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform
- Experience with programming in Python
- Knowledge of bi‑directional network transfer systems
- DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
Compensation

Work Model
Remote: occasional on‑site work at a Booz Allen or customer facility may be required. Hybrid: expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, with possible visits to customer facilities. Onsite: work will be primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers as required.
