We’re looking for an experienced data architect like you to deliver leading-edge solutions for national security.

As a Data Engineer on our defense team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to design data architecture solutions for Service Oriented Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, virtualization, big data analytics, and cloud computing. You’ll resolve routine data architecture issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by working with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture developments. You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience developing and implementing overall organization data strategy in line with business processes and objectives
  • 3+ years of experience designing databases, data structures, and schemas
  • Experience identifying data sources, both internal and external, and working out a plan for data management in line with the data strategy
  • Experience examining and identifying database structural necessities by evaluating operations, applications, and programming
  • Ability to advise higher-level leadership on critical data management issues
  • Ability to consult with customers and key stakeholders to evaluate functional requirements for artificial intelligence and data applications
  • Ability to evaluate data storage requirements and prepare and implement data backup, recovery, and secondary data storage and disaster recovery
  • TS / SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Management or IT
  • DoD IAT Level II Cyber Certification

  • Experience developing data models
  • Knowledge of service management concepts for networks and related standards
  • Knowledge of DoD AI Ethical Principles
  • CDMP Certification

Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
