The festive season at Boots is one of our most exciting and important times of the year, and it simply couldn\'t happen without the energy and dedication of our warehouse team. As a Warehouse Operations Assistant, you\'ll be at the heart of the action, ensuring every customer receives the high-end festive experience they love and deserve - helping create moments that lead to a happily ever after.
This role is a great opportunity whether you\'re just starting out in your career or have retail or warehouse experience and want a fresh challenge. If you enjoy meeting personal goals and being part of a supportive team, this is the position for you.
Whilst this is a temporary contract, there may be the potential for a permanent role later depending on the opportunities in your local area, so it could be the start of a new career with us.
Responsibilities
About the role
Christmas in Boots is our most exciting time of the year, and it can be very busy, so we\'ll provide you with all the training and support you need to help you be at your best. You will work in our offsite warehouse for our distributions and logistics teams and report into the Assistant or Store Manager and your role will be help some of our biggest and busiest stores make sure they always have the right level of stock to ensure that every customer leaves our store with what they wanted and has a great experience in store this Christmas.
- Drive stock between the warehouse and ours Boots store
- Unpack and replenish
- Load and dispatch goods
What you\'ll need to have
Full training is provided for this role, and we are looking for people who:
- Able to Drive: You need to hold a valid full UK Driving Licence
- Speed & Accuracy: You need to enjoy following process, working quickly whilst staying precise.
- Physical Stamina: You\'ll be on your feet, standing, walking, lifting and driving. If you\'re ready to stay busy and active, this is the role for you!
- Availability: You need to be able to work early start times and weekends
- Tech-Savvy: You need to be comfortable learning about and using new technology, including handheld mobile devices.
- Adaptable: You need to excel in a varied environment where priorities change to suit the flow of work in the warehouse
- Safety-Minded: You need to maintain a safety-focused mindset and understand the importance of following health and safety procedures

- Experience in a warehouse environment
