The Supply Chain Planning Lead (Dotcom and Hybrid) role is a full-time role based in our Nottingham Support Office. It is a pivotal role in the success of our dotcom supply chain, working across a wide range of stakeholder groups to ensure supply, commercial and operational plans are connected, and our operations are set up for success.
Key responsibilities
- Reporting to the Dotcom Supply Chain Planning Manager, this role will work closely with a wide group of stakeholders across Supply, Logistics Operations, Commercial and Digital Operations to ensure operations are set up for success.
- The role is responsible for setting and executing the operational capacity requirement and strategy for all dotcom fulfilment locations in our supply chain network.
- Create accurate operational capacity plans and forecasts and define and execute appropriate inventory strategies to support those plans.
- Maintain and improve the dotcom supply chain planning process, turning business plans into accurate operational capacity plans, budgets and forecasts.
- Develop and use complex insights to help define our future network strategy and capacity plans.
- Support in delivering continuous improvement projects that drive the best balance of operational capacity and cost with working capital investments.
- Define optimal inventory strategies and work with commercial supply teams on execution of those across our network.
- Participate in cross-functional transformation projects as a supply chain subject matter expert.

- Analytical and highly organized, with the ability to turn complex data into meaningful insights and actions.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience of Boots supply chain operations and systems.
- Knowledge of current Forecasting and Replenishment systems and Order Management Systems for Dotcom order routing and fulfilment.
- Experience using Power BI tools.
