As part of our Central Operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our stores run smoothly and efficiently.

What you’ll be doing

You will cover the South Region for Boots, particularly Dorset, Bournemouth, Southampton & Jersey / Guernsey. In this role, you will:

  • Share best practice and work cross-functionally to drive robust standards and identify areas for improvement and education.
  • Provide guidance for the store audit process, ensuring compliance and driving capability to improve results.
  • Undertake store audit verifications, ensuring robust compliance and coaching stores to improve standards.
  • Implement store projects with a collaborative mindset with store, area and regional teams, ensuring these are delivered on time and to the required standard.
  • Coach stores to understand MyStock processes enabling delivery of a robust operational platform in stores.
  • Act as the conduit between stores and support office to influence the wider agenda.
  • Promote a strong safety culture in stores offering guidance and expertise and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Undertake investigations into internal and external losses within stores, including formal interviewing of colleagues.
  • Work in partnership with other Stores Operations Support team members to respond appropriately to all incidents, accidents and loss & fraud investigations.

It would be great if you also have

  • A strong understanding of stores and operational activity - preferably with stores, support office, and/or supply chain experience.
  • Experience in training or mentoring team members.
  • Great investigatory skills demonstrating interpersonal understanding.
  • Ability to explain, simplify and communicate analytical information clearly & concisely.
  • Ability to travel across the South of England.
