Overview

To role model best practice recruitment in the Healthcare Recruitment team, providing cost effective, innovative and market leading recruitment strategies. Act as a peer group leader among the team ensuring improvements are made to our overall processes and ensure a first class hiring manager and candidate experience. Demonstrate leadership capabilities by deputising for the Recruitment Manager and mentoring and coaching other team members, taking accountability for their recruitment, development and ultimately performance.

Your Responsibilities

  • Utilise recruitment experience and expertise to provide an end to end recruitment solutions focusing on a customer led approach
  • Operate a KPI framework that sets a high standard for the surrounding team, and consistently focuses on continuous improvement
  • Business partner HR stakeholders to firstly understand demand and resource needs but also to provide excellent external insights to help gauge future talent planning
  • Form close links with wider HR team including, but not limited to, Reward, L&D, Resourcing to ensure a fully collaborative people approach
  • Take ownership of mentoring, coaching and developing a given number of peers within the Recruitment team monitoring KPIs and performance to ensure continued success
  • Take responsibility of leadership capability by pursuing training courses and learning activities
  • Work collaboratively with Social Media and Marketing teams (internal and external) to put Boots on the front foot in the external market both in your given discipline and wider Resourcing team
  • Attend external networking events, continuing to learn, challenge and develop our current ways of working
  • Ensure business area is protected from reactive recruitment by instilling a bench warming strategy to meet business needs and future risk

What you will need

  • Significant experience in end to end recruitment in a target driven environment with the ability to exceed set criteria in Pharmacy Recruitment
  • Exposure to campaign attraction and social media advertising
  • Excellent management of third party suppliers including external agents, including ownership of supplier terms
  • Experience in management or mentoring of Recruitment individuals with a hunger for wanting to develop this skill further, demonstrating clear development of such individuals
  • Mind set of not accepting the status quo and challenging better ways of working where appropriate
  • Experience in project work and managing multiple stakeholders where you have demonstrated an improvement to existing processes
  • Excellent ability to manage upwards, along with a collaborative mind-set that takes people on your journey
  • Ability to think ahead, and use innovative solutions to ensure Boots operates a market leading recruitment model
