Responsibilities
- Design and develop data models in SAP BW and Datasphere that align with business requirements.
- Lead the implementation of complex SAP BW/Datasphere projects, ensuring they meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to SAP BW/Datasphere solutions.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for the SAP BW/Datasphere platform.
- Implement layered architecture (Inbound, Harmonization, Reporting).
- Build and maintain ADSOs, composite Providers, BW Queries and develop Datasphere objects including tables, views and analytical models.
- Implement Business Data Fabric principles, ensuring semantic consistency across systems and enable data virtualization and minimize data duplication.
- Provide guidance to the project team and stakeholders on best practices for SAP BW/Datasphere and BDC implementation.
- Engage business stakeholders to understand requirements and align SAP solutions with business goals and objectives.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay up to date on the latest SAP BTP technologies and identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements.
- Work cross‑functionally and collaboratively with Architects, Data Engineers, and Analysts.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in delivering SAP BW projects, with good knowledge of ADSOs, Composite Providers, BW Queries and LSA++ architecture.
- Expertise in SAP Datasphere, Data Builder & Business Builder, Analytical Models, and data flows.
- Familiarity with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC).
- Effective communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in managing key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
