We\’re seeking a Retail Leadership and Healthcare Recruitment Partner to lead the hiring of store and regional managers across our Pharmacy and Opticians businesses. Our senior managers play a key role in shaping our brand and customer experience whilst driving results for every location and you\’ll play a pivotal part supporting our 2000+ stores by recruiting the very best leadership talent.
As a growing healthcare business, you\’ll also lead recruitment for our Pharmacy Dispenser population, attracting first-class candidates to this fulfilling career. About the role
Set within the wider recruitment function, you\’ll work in a small but agile team, and you will:
- Manage 30-60 vacancies at any one time, across a wide range of UK locations
- Own the end-to-end recruitment strategy for your areas. From designing impactful attraction plans to sourcing and headhunting, you\’ll have full ownership over your roles with the chance to support your team and contribute to broader projects.
- You\’ll bring fresh energy to how we recruit: from creating bespoke plans tailored to each store\’s location and USP, to renewing job ads and interview formats – there\’s real opportunity here to innovate and improve.
- You\’ll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with Area Managers, People Partners, and Directors of Stores to understand their recruitment needs, provide recruitment recommendations and implement continuous improvement solutions.
- You\’ll deliver an exceptional candidate experience – screening and preparing them for interview, managing feedback, negotiating offers and getting them ready for that all-important first day
- You\’ll spend time in stores to truly understand your roles and the people in them and attend industry events and conferences to keep you connected, inspired, and always learning.
- You\’ll produce and work with data-driven insights to improve time-to-hire, conversion rates, and quality of hire.
- You\’ll help us stay ahead of the curve by being informed on market trends, innovative strategies and talent pipelines
What you\’ll need to have
- Passionate about retail leadership, understanding the role great people play in building a thriving, customer-focused business.
- Experience in high volume recruitment (either in-house or agency)
- Proven experience managing full life-cycle recruitment (attraction through to onboarding)
- A creative thinker-you understand the importance of local market nuance (what works in one location may not work in another) and you\’re not afraid to try new things or tailor your approach to reach the right talent.
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, providing insights and working collaboratively.
- Drive for continuous improvement with a people-focused approach in that values both customers and colleagues equally
