Welcome to the Pharmacy Operations team – We’re delighted to share a secondment opportunity in an exciting team at the heart of Boots UK’s pharmacy growth plans. We’re focusing on optimising processes to deliver on our customer promises of speedy service, complete control and reliable repeats across our Pharmacy platform.
As a Regional Pharmacy Operations Managers you will be leading a team of Pharmacy Support Managers to support stores to deliver operational processes to release capacity, enhance customer experience to enable business growth. The role will partner the Directors of Stores and Area Managers providing customer focused leadership and operational excellence to pharmacy and healthcare.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the pharmacy operations agenda to enhance customer care and operational efficiency.
- Lead and inspire a team of Pharmacy Support Managers across the region.
- Analyse key operational performance indicators to implement effective local interventions.
- Collaborate with Directors of Stores and Area Managers to ensure operational excellence.
- Model and promote the company vision and purpose within your team.
- Drive efficiencies while maintaining high standards of patient care.
What you'll need to have (our must-haves)
- A Registered Pharmacist status.
- At least 3 years of community pharmacy contract experience.
- Strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities..
- Robust operational knowledge and be exemplar in execution of process
It would be great if you also have
- Experience in field leadership roles.
- Implementation experience in pharmacy operations.
