We’re focusing on optimising processes to deliver on our customer promises of speedy service, complete control and reliable repeats across our Pharmacy platform. Leading a team of Pharmacy Support Managers to support stores to deliver operational processes to release capacity, enhance customer experience to enable business growth. The role will partner the Directors of Stores and Area Managers providing customer focused leadership and operational excellence to pharmacy and healthcare.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Head of Store Pharmacy Operations, the Regional Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for delivering the pharmacy operational agenda across a region, leading the team of Pharmacy Support Managers in that region. The role will drive the pharmacy operations platform that maximizes contribution to the profitability and development of the UK business by driving efficiencies whilst still delivering the required patient experience. The role will partner the Director of Stores, Head of Pharmacy and Area Managers providing customer focused leadership and operational excellence to pharmacy and healthcare.
The Regional Pharmacy Operations Manager leads a team of Pharmacy support managers that support store teams to analyse the operational performance indicators of the pharmacy to make the right local leadership interventions. Inspirational leadership will ensure colleagues and leaders are engaged and work collaboratively across the business. Whilst role modelling and bringing to life the company vision and purpose, this role will focus on the delivery of colleague and patient centric, best in class, processes and practices as well as supporting the set-up of the pharmacy operating platform that underpins the delivery of the Healthcare Business unit initiatives that land in stores.
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)
- 3 years community pharmacy contract experience
- Registered Pharmacist
- Have robust operational knowledge and be exemplar in execution of pharmacy process
It would be great if you also have
- Experience in a multi-site management role.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in pharmacy operations.
- Implementation experience with preference for field leadership experience.
