An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pharmacy Operations Field Team in Region 1 in the role of Pharmacy Support Manager (PSM). You will be part of the team of PSM’s who support our Store Leaders, Pharmacists and Area managers to ensure our pharmacies deliver an efficient and profitable pharmacy business and lead for innovation in our stores. You will be PSM for two areas within the region covering South West Scotland and North Ayrshire and Inverclyde. You must be flexible enough to flow to the work across the region should the need arise.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting directly into the Regional Pharmacy Operations Manager (RPOM), you will lead pharmacy teams with pace to ensure that our pharmacies are working efficiently and effectively to ensure a flawless patient experience in every store.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Implement strategies to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory and ensure the availability of essential products.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive operational excellence.
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves):
- Proven experience in pharmacy operations or management.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- 3-years' community pharmacy experience.
- Registered Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician.
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
- Enthusiasm for automation and innovation in pharmacy.
- Proficient use of IT including Microsoft Teams and Powerpoint.
