What you'll be doing

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Strategy and Transformation team as a Programme Manager on a 12M fixed term contract

Boots UK has a significant portfolio of transformational change comprising multiple large-scale programmes. You will report to the senior programme manager in Healthcare and support the delivery of the Boots Health programme.

Boots Health connects our brilliant healthcare assets within an ecosystem in a powerful way – joining up and orchestrating how a customer accesses our full healthcare offer. You will be responsible for the set-up and governance of the overall programme and coordinating the delivery activity across all the workstreams including stores, property, digital and people.

Boots Health is instrumental in driving our growth ambition and achievement of strategic goals. By guiding and leading change projects, you will contribute to the success of the organisation.

Key responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

· Bringing structure, discipline and control to the programme to ensure excellence in delivery regarding cost, time and quality

· Management of issues, assumptions and decisions

· Identification and management of dependencies within and between programmes

· Ensure the programme utilises Programme Management best practice

What you'll need to have (our must-haves)

You will have degree calibre and have experience of:

· Working in complex change programmes, such as organisation design, culture, process or systems changes.

· Working in the broader field of project, programme and portfolio management and strategic planning.

· Working with a diverse range of senior stakeholders and able to influence and communicate clearly at all levels.

Resilience and adaptability in environments with evolving requirements.

It would be great if you also have

Ideally have completed (or working towards) MSP practitioner or similar (e.g. APM practitioner).
