What you’ll be doing:

In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of five, ensuring the successful execution of our commercial plans across our stores. You will act as a vital link between our Commercial, Marketing, and Retail teams, driving clarity and alignment on priorities. Your strong leadership and communication skills will be essential as you manage stakeholder relationships and challenge established processes to enhance our operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own communication of commercial plans to store teams, ensuring clarity on priorities and execution whether that be sales plans or merchandising activities.
  • Act as a conduit between Commercial, Marketing, and Retail teams to align priorities and plans and to harmonise across all functions.
  • Support commercial initiatives and provide operational input to key projects, ensuring store teams and operational aspects are appropriately considered.
  • Manage stakeholder communication to minimise confusion during issues, ensuring central and field leaders are clear on progress, issues, and next steps.
  • Lead and develop a team of 5, ensuring team goals are met and continuous development is provided.
  • Challenge the status quo of established processes, improving the stores' ability to execute and support reduction on improvements required post first-time activity.

  • Strong understanding of key commercial processes (Sales Plan, Merchandising, Trading) and how this fits within broader commercial processes and ideally with store experience to match.
  • Effective stakeholder management, especially in pressurised situations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to make quick, fact-based decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing immediate priorities with long-term goals.
  • Experience in managing change effectively.
