As a Senior Pensions Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery and oversight of our retirement savings and life assurance arrangements across the UK.
What you’ll be doing
- Analyse technical and legislative changes, assessing their impact and proposing necessary adaptations to ensure compliance.
- Act as Secretary to the UK Pensions Governance Committee, organising meetings and preparing agendas.
- Support the UK Pensions Manager with the pensions communications strategy, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with HR and Payroll Teams to manage life assurance schemes effectively.
- Ensure the delivery and oversight of the Boots Retirement Savings Plan.
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in pensions.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Competence with IT systems.
- Project management experience.
- A customer-centric focus and stakeholder management experience.
- A proactive, flexible, and forward-thinking approach.

- Experience working within a pensions team, either in-house or in consultancy.
