What you'll be doing

As the Senior Manager – Compensation Workstream Lead, you will play a pivotal role in Boots' HR transformation journey. Your leadership will guide the integration of multiple HR systems into a unified platform, enhancing the experience for over 50,000 colleagues. By collaborating with various teams, you will ensure that new processes are not only effective but also aligned with our commitment to colleague experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of the Advanced Compensation module and the Compensation elements of the Core HCM module.
  • Provide leadership and direction to Business Architects and Process Specialists, ensuring high-quality process design.
  • Coach and support your team, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Work closely with Process Owners and stakeholders to define effective future processes.
  • Collaborate with the Lead E2E Business Architect to ensure seamless integration of Compensation processes.
  • Take accountability for key design and process decisions within your workstream.
  • Facilitate workshops and decision-making sessions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures, and User Acceptance Testing scenarios.

What you'll need to have (our must-haves)

  • Strong knowledge of Total Rewards processes.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale HR transformation or technology implementation programmes.
  • Experience managing complex workstreams and delivering outcomes through cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating and guiding teams through change.
  • Experience managing delivery plans, risks, dependencies and priorities within a complex programme environment.
  • Experience improving business processes and embedding new ways of working.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the confidence to navigate ambiguity and challenge where needed.
  • A collaborative approach, working effectively across business, technology and specialist teams.

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience delivering an HR Information System (HRIS) implementation.
