What you’ll be doing
In this pivotal role, you will lead the strategy and execution for our EB, Photo & Sun categories, driving growth and innovation. You will report to the Category Director and lead a team of 5 direct reports across 3 major categories.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement category strategies to maximise sales and profitability.
- Analyse market trends and customer insights to inform product selection and pricing.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure product availability.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute promotional campaigns and product launches.
- Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to achieve business objectives.
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)
- Strong commercial experience with proven track record of delivering strong revenue and profit.
- Understand Boots, ways of working and how to get things done, with a strong network internally
- Understand importance of Boots own brand in these categories
- Proven track record of working with and nurturing SME’s
- Strong leadership skills and team development experience
- Ability to influence cross functionally
