To support the delivery of the Merchandising activity plans and trials for specific categories that align with the overall space layout and merchandising strategy and deliver against category objectives. Support the implementation of accurate customer led builds right first time and review all rebuild activity.
The Boots UK Merchandising team works cross-functionally to deliver Customer, Commercial and Operationally-led planograms, supporting the entire Boots UK and ROI Estate. We deliver Strategic, tactical and Seasonal rebuilds to meet the ever changing needs of our Customers and the Market Place in which we operate. The team are technical and merchandising experts who work collaboratively across our department to share learnings, best practices and continuous improvement ideas.
Key Responsibilities- Consistently apply merchandising standards to ensure all planograms and associated materials are commercially focused, relevant for customers and effective for stores.
- Lead weekly project meetings, anticipate and resolve problems and escalate where necessary.
- Creation of planograms to help deliver right first time for our stores.
- Working with our suppliers and other third parties to ensure all rebuild relevant information is provided on time to the critical path and accurate. (Joiners and Leavers, line lists, kitting)
- Strong team working and collaborative style. Willing and able to lead specific elements and work as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills. Able to hold others to account and engage in challenging conversations.
- Great relationship building skills, working with multiple brands and stakeholders.
- Adaptable and flexible with a mindset for continuous improvement.
- Good knowledge of excel and Blue Yonder / Intactix would be desirable.
