What you'll be doing:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities within the D200 Energy Centre and Boots Beeston site.
  • Making informed decisions to ensure the safe and efficient supply of utilities.
  • Providing support and guidance to fellow team members.
  • Responding promptly to abnormal or emergency situations to minimise disruptions.
  • Participating in the development of standard operating procedures and safe systems of work.

What you'll need to have (our must-haves):

  • A time-served Engineering apprenticeship.
  • Significant mechanical experience.
  • Understanding of industrial processes and steam systems.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety obligations in an engineering environment.
  • A full valid UK driving licence.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A positive 'can do' attitude, whether working independently or as part of a team.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Experience in fault finding and repair of industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with computer systems relevant to engineering tasks.
  • Flexibility to work out of hours and shifts as required.
