What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and development of planners and seconded resources, ensuring consistent performance, high-quality outputs, and achievement of key project milestones. Working closely with the Property Field Team Resource Manager, Programme Office, and a wide range of stakeholders across Retail and Support Office functions, you will help coordinate workloads, improve ways of working, and drive continuous improvement across the planning function.

Key responsibilities

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Property Planners.
  • Coordinating resources and workloads to meet business priorities and project milestones.
  • Monitoring performance against KPIs and ensuring quality standards are maintained.
  • Driving consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement across planning processes.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Property, Retail, and Support Office teams.
  • Supporting cross-functional collaboration to deliver successful property programmes.
  • Deputising for the Property Field Team Resource Manager when required.


What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)

  • Proven people management and leadership experience.
  • Strong planning, organisation, and workload management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • A track record of driving performance, continuous improvement, and team development.
  • The ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and priorities.


It would be great if you also have

  • Experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in property management.
  • Stores and Operational knowledge
