What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and development of planners and seconded resources, ensuring consistent performance, high-quality outputs, and achievement of key project milestones. Working closely with the Property Field Team Resource Manager, Programme Office, and a wide range of stakeholders across Retail and Support Office functions, you will help coordinate workloads, improve ways of working, and drive continuous improvement across the planning function.
Key responsibilities
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Property Planners.
- Coordinating resources and workloads to meet business priorities and project milestones.
- Monitoring performance against KPIs and ensuring quality standards are maintained.
- Driving consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement across planning processes.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Property, Retail, and Support Office teams.
- Supporting cross-functional collaboration to deliver successful property programmes.
- Deputising for the Property Field Team Resource Manager when required.
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)
- Proven people management and leadership experience.
- Strong planning, organisation, and workload management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- A track record of driving performance, continuous improvement, and team development.
- The ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and priorities.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience in project management.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in property management.
- Stores and Operational knowledge
