This is a key leadership role responsible for developing and managing permanent and seconded Property Delivery Managers (PDMs), supporting Local Transformation Leads, and ensuring stores receive the guidance, training, and operational support needed to deliver successful property and merchandising projects.

What you’ll be doing
Acting as the central point of contact for Boots Local schemes, you will work closely with Property, Retail, Programme Office, and Field Teams to drive consistency, performance, and continuous improvement. Working across a varied portfolio of projects and store formats, you will coordinate resources, monitor delivery against key milestones, and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including Heads of Region, Area Managers, and Store Managers. In this role, you will:
- Lead, coach, and develop seconded Property Delivery Managers and supporting Local Transformation Leads.
- Act as the subject matter expert for Boots Local programmes, providing training and ongoing support to stores and field teams.
- Coordinate project delivery and quality assurance to ensure stores receive effective operational support.
- Forecast resource requirements and working with the Programme Office to balance workloads and priorities.
- Monitor project progress, KPI performance, and adherence to key milestones.
- Drive continuous improvement and consistency across Boots Local schemes and property delivery processes.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across Property, Retail, and Operations.
- Represent the Property function on Boots Local projects and initiatives.
- Deputise for the Property Field Team Resource Manager when required.
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)
- Proven leadership and people management experience within a property, project delivery, retail, or operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of store operations, project delivery, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and build credibility with senior leaders.
- Commercial awareness and experience delivering projects within complex and fast-paced environments.
- A passion for developing people, driving performance, and delivering exceptional business outcomes.
