As part of our Property team, you will play a crucial role in delivering care, confidence, and connection within our communities.
What you’ll be doing
These roles support the delivery of store interventions, optimising return on investment. Our plans align to company strategies (customer, commercial, healthcare and property) and financial targets (revenue growth & returns) helping our customers to fundamentally reappraise Boots. Interventions can include total refurbishments, dispensary improvements, trials, and beauty hall reconfigurations. From simple to complex changes across strategic initiatives and store improvements.
The Project Management Team work with Stores and Contractors to ensure schemes are landed effectively to agreed programmes and quality, on time and within budget, and with the minimum disruption to stores and their ability to trade. The role is particularly satisfying in supporting and enabling the real difference made to the physical environment in store and the team’s journey throughout the change. There will be a need to manage multiple schemes simultaneously. This role reports directly to the Project Manager and is a pivotal role as part of the Project Management Team.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of property projects.
- Support & manage the completion of key tasks within the project management process at each stage.
- Ensure correct documentation and information is provided and collated through the end-to-end process and systems.
- Coordinate and support internal teams, external partners and stores for seamless project delivery, from project initiation through to completion and sign off.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with the Project Team and Stakeholders, with timely and appropriate information & escalation of issues.
- Monitor project timelines and provide updates.
- Ensure project teams, store colleagues and contractors are engaged in the project requirements & deadlines.
- Support the team in identifying themes across any issues and opportunities with learnings.
- Evaluating and implementing process improvements and changes.
- Foster a collaborative environment that champions inclusion and team connection.

- Experience of or with merchandising agencies and contractors
