The Proposition Development Manager will play a key role in shaping the future of Boots Health. Working across Digital, Data, Technology, Loyalty and Healthcare teams, you’ll create connected health propositions that make healthcare more seamless, personalised and empowering for our customers whilst supporting the growth of our brilliant healthcare ecosystem.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Boots Health programme as we build a connected healthcare ecosystem that brings together our digital, clinical and retail capabilities. You'll work with cross-functional teams to shape new customer propositions, validate opportunities and help deliver the next generation of Boots Health experiences. The post-holder will report into the Head of Healthcare Development.

Key responsibilities

  • Shaping and developing the Boots Digital Health proposition, working closely with the Digital, Data, Loyalty and Technology teams to create personalised, connected customer experiences that support the wider Boots Health vision.
  • Leading the commercial development of new Boots Health propositions, building business cases and commercial models that drive profitable growth.
  • Supporting product discovery, validating customer opportunities and helping prioritise initiatives that deliver across the Boots Health roadmap.
  • Facilitating key programme meetings and keeping the focus on opportunities to accelerate transformation outcomes as part of the 3-year roadmap to delivering integrated healthcare.
  • Identifying and developing the future pipeline of new healthcare proposition opportunities, partnerships and services to strengthen the Boots Health ecosystem and improve customer health outcomes.
  • Measure proposition success through customer outcomes, commercial performance, engagement, and lifetime customer value, using test-and-learn approaches to continuously improve propositions.

What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)

  • At least 5+ years commercial experience developing customer propositions across digital, retail or healthcare channels with the ability to build business cases and commercial models.
  • Proven experience in cross-functional leadership with the ability to lead in an agile way and influence across a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting digital product development, MVPs or customer proposition launches using customer insight and data to inform decisions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and work across multiple teams.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity, testing ideas, learning quickly and adapting based on customer feedback.

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience within healthcare, health technology or customer health and wellbeing propositions.
  • Experience of partnering with clinical/clinical governance teams.
  • Experience with customer-centred design, product discovery or test-and-learn delivery approaches.
