What you'll be doing
As the Head of Healthcare Development, you will play a pivotal role in leading the Boots Health programme, which is central to our growth strategy. Your focus will be on developing a connected care model that enhances our healthcare offerings across various formats. By driving innovation and collaborating with a talented team, you will help shape the future of healthcare at Boots, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development and delivery of the Boots Health programme.
- Define and deliver the healthcare development roadmap, establishing short and long-term priorities.
- Partner with the Programme Manager to establish robust governance and clear accountabilities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and healthcare partners.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Healthcare Development team.
- Champion customer-centric solutions that improve access to healthcare.
- Drive profitable growth through rapid test and learns and evaluation of new initiatives.
- Act as a senior ambassador for Boots Health in strategic meetings and industry forums.
What you'll need to have
- 5+ years experience in Healthcare, Pharmacy or Commercial.
- Strong leadership presence with excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering new strategies in a healthcare environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in managing budgets and delivering to financial targets.
- A highly collaborative approach with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience of leading complex, cross-functional projects or programmes.
- Exposure to healthcare partnerships and strategic partnerships.
- Passion for delivering improved customer experiences across healthcare.
