Are you ready to take your finance career to the next level? Boots Opticians is looking for a Head of Finance - FP&A to join our dynamic Finance team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to partner with our Director of Finance and Managing Director, providing critical insights and analysis that drive our business forward.
You will provide clear reporting, analysis and insight to the business and central FP&A to ensure understanding and alignment of weekly, monthly & in year performance. You will own forecast, budget and 3YP processes. This role is within a team that is fast paced and dedicated to providing the best financial support to the business.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide clear reporting, analysis, and insight to ensure alignment of performance against financial forecasts and budgets.
- Own the end-to-end financial reporting process, delivering clarity to key stakeholders.
- Bring insight and challenge across the finance function, influencing decisions with your market perspective.
- Prepare and lead presentations of monthly performance to executive teams.
- Champion the streamlining and automation of management information to enhance efficiency.
- Review strategic direction of FP&A within Boots Opticians & how it interacts with wider Boots UK business.
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)
- A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to develop individuals and teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to inspire and effect change.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- High energy and resilience, capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.
