In this role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding our operations, ensuring that our stock processes are secure and efficient. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team that values your insights and contributions, helping us to deliver care, confidence, and connection in communities across the UK and Ireland.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide insight to the business to reduce the risk of loss and fraud associated with retail stock.
  • Proactively identify compliance errors, fraud and/or suspect activity through timely, routine forensic analysis of all available and relevant data sources including associated monitoring processes for all control processes.
  • Identify common trends and develop a deep understanding of fraudulent methodology to continuously improve our investigative analysis.
  • Identify risk in current policy & processes, recommend new solutions to mitigate or minimise identified risk in all areas of accountability.
  • Identify risk in current system builds and platform constraints, recommend new solutions to mitigate or minimise identified risk.

What you'll need to have (our must-haves):

  • High standards of written and verbal communication skills and have strong impact and influence skills.
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with a high concern for order and quality.
  • Experience of data analysis across large, varied and complex data sets.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, build and manage stakeholder relationships.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Experience in retail or stock management.
  • Knowledge of fraud prevention techniques and tools.
  • Proficiency in Excel is essential, with Power BI experience.
