What you’ll be doing
In this highly visible role, you will report to the Head of Finance: FP&A and lead the Financial Planning and Analysis activities. You will coordinate planning processes, provide insightful reporting to our Executive Leadership Team, and build strong relationships with finance teams across Boots UK and beyond. Your contributions will directly impact our strategic decisions and help us achieve our goals.
Key responsibilities
- Lead FP&A activities, including the annual 3-Year Plan and Budget processes.
- Design and implement internal processes to meet Group deadlines.
- Identify performance trends for robust target setting.
- Provide insightful reporting to aid understanding of performance.
- Manage and mentor a Senior Finance Analyst.
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with the confidence to challenge and influence.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of TM1 reporting and Planning Analytics is a plus.
It would be great if you also have
- Previous experience in leading small teams.
- A natural curiosity and a “can do” mindset.
