We're looking for an exceptional strategic leader to drive the next phase of growth for Boots Health. As Director of Boots Health Programme, you will lead the discovery and development of innovative healthcare solutions, partnerships and business models that strengthen our connected healthcare ecosystem across Pharmacy, Consumer Health, Digital Health, Opticians and Hearingcare.
Working with senior leaders across the business, you will identify new growth opportunities, shape future healthcare propositions and help position Boots as the UK's leading health and wellness destination.
What you’ll be doing
• Lead the development and delivery of the Boots Health strategy, connecting our healthcare ecosystem to enhance the customer and colleague experience.
• Shape the future direction of Boots Health, influencing executive and senior stakeholders and driving strategic investment decisions.
• Build and deliver a pipeline of innovative healthcare initiatives that generate growth, drive better customer experience, improved customer health outcomes, and unlock new revenue streams.
• Develop and test new customer-centric healthcare propositions across digital and physical channels, through the development of holistic propositions across all store formats and digital channels that support our ambition to be the UK’s #1 healthcare business.
• Establish innovative partnerships with healthcare providers, insurers, health-tech organisations and other external partners.
• Steer the development of the store format strategy for healthcare, influencing the agenda to drive growth for healthcare space across the retail footprint and consultation space, developing new customer propositions in line with the formats and driving the one health store delivery plan.
• Support major business transformation programmes, helping prioritise opportunities and capabilities across Health & Wellness.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team while building strong networks internally and across the healthcare industry.
What you'll need to have
• Significant leadership experience within healthcare, retail, consumer health, strategy, consulting or a related commercial environment, and a passion for health and wellness.
• Proven success in developing, evaluating, and delivering growth strategies that create improved customer outcomes and long-term value for the company.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insight into actionable business plans.
• Enthusiasm to deliver the future vision for category and the ability to clearly articulate this to key stakeholders
• Outstanding communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Growth mindset, entrepreneurial approach and a passion for healthcare innovation.
• Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to build, inspire and develop high-performing teams.
